Financial Aid

Federal Financial Aid

Federal Financial Aid is available for all those who qualify. You can either apply online at fafsa.ed.gov or contact or come by our offices so that we may assist you with filling out the FAFSA and the rest of the application process.

If you choose to apply online, you will be asked for the school you want to receive your financial aid information, please enter our school, Valley Grande Institute, and our School Code is 036124.

We will contact you within 5-7 business days after you have completed the application process to let you know your financial aid results and what the next step will be. Our Financial Aid Department is available during regular business hours to assist with any questions you may have.

Veterans

Valley Grande Institute is an approved school for the United States Department of Veterans Affairs GI Bill for educational benefits. Contact us and speak to one of our Career Advisors to learn more information.

Texas Workforce Commission

If you don’t qualify for financial assistance from the Federal Department of Education for Federal Financial Aid, we do have other options available:

You may qualify for Education Assistance from the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), depending on your income and situation. Contact your local TWC Office for more information.

Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services

You may qualify for Assistance from the Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS), if you have a physical or learning disability.

Motivation, Education, & Training, Inc.

You may qualify for Assistance from Motivation, Education, & Training, Inc., (MET) if you have migrated this current year and meet other requirements. Contact your local MET office for more information.

(TWC, TRC, & MET are independent from the school and it will be according to their own policies and procedures if you qualify for assistance through their programs.)

If you don’t qualify for financial assistance through any of these programs, we do offer payment plans to pay for the cost of tuition.
