Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is the practice of using touch to manipulate the soft-tissue muscles of the body. It is performed for a variety of reasons, including treating painful ailments, decompressing tired and overworked muscles, reducing stress, rehabilitating sports injuries, and promoting general health. Clients often seek massage for its medical benefit and for relaxation purposes, and there is a wide range of massage treatments available. As a massage therapist you have flexible hours, growing employment opportunities, and the satisfaction of knowing you’re helping people. The flexible hours can also make massage therapy a lucrative rource of additional income if you hold another job.

Course Length: approximately 6 months

Upon completion of the course student will have the opportunity to test for the following licenses:

  • Massage Therapist – Texas State License
